Casa Cor / MG – Belo Horizonte City / 40m² / 2012

The space for the 2012 edition is a living room. The project was inspired by the Art Deco style, a movement that spread from the 1920s in Paris, internationalized and experienced its heyday in the 1930s / 40s, during two major world wars. This movement affected the decorative arts, architectural construction, industrial design, the visual arts, fashion, graphic arts and cinema, being a mixture of styles and movements, ranging from ostentation to practicality. A wide range of themes make up the Art Deco decorative repertoire, including stylized figurative motifs, abstract geometric elements and aerodynamic curves, inspired by machines, fauna, flora, themes associated with ancient cultures and classical language. Environment signed by architect and designer Cioli Stancioli.
