This is the first text I write for VIVA Grande BH, and I have the honor to participate in this communication channel. VIVA Grande BH Magazine is gaining space in our Minas Gerais, starting around Belo Horizonte and every day, opening space and adding followers in all fields: readers, retailers, suppliers and companies from various branches.
In this short column we will cover subjects in the area of architecture, decoration, design and photography, all aggregated in my area of formation. I would like to start by bringing to the attention of dear readers the importance of the Architect and his hiring. This professional studies and develops his skills initially in five years of university education, aiming to create appropriate spaces to the various activities that humans perform throughout their existence, in all spheres, such as social, family, business, among others of equal importance. Certainly, the experience of good professionals is based on many other years of experience accumulated in the different areas that he chooses in the exercise of his profession of Architect and Urbanist, supporting him to help those who hire them to perform the works they wish to develop. cost-effective, safe and certainly in the right time to perform different tasks. In the creation of residences, spaces and environments tailored to the client’s needs and desires, the Architect takes decisive action from the choice and purchase of land to the completion of construction and / or renovation of pre-existing sites. This professional develops several studies based on the functions, dimensions and occupancy of the space, including light, heat stroke, thermal and acoustic comfort, color, different building materials and finishes, contributing to an efficient and long term use. There is even a need to study elements and textures to arouse or block visual and tactile sensations. Allied to the choice of building materials, always based on the use and function, there is also the possibility of using plants, which soften the heat and beautify the place, contributing to the sense of pleasure and joy of those who will occupy the place. Even odors and sound must be taken into consideration and can be planned in advance by the Architect.
There is no denying the value of the Architect and Urbanist, from the earliest times, to the present day, when the way of life has been changing very quickly, and it is necessary to adapt to the new planetary times, both in uses and customs, even on climate change. The role of the Architect in the generation of well-designed and planned spaces exerts an improvement in human living, both personally and collectively.
